Emmys Host Cedric the Entertainer Mocks Royals and Pokes Fun at Nicki Minaj’s Controversial Vaccine Comments
Cedric the Entertainer made fun of the British royal family when he hosted the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday i.e. September 19, 2021.
The stand-up comedian mocked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s infamous interview with Opera Winfrey in which Meghan claimed that she was asked by another royal about the skin color of their two-year-old-son Archie during her pregnancy.
Cedric the Entertainer joked at LA Live in Los Angeles,
Meghan must put it on that boy because he renounced his throne quicker than Eddie Murphy in ‘Coming to America’.
I can’t believe they were talking about little Archie. How dark that little baby gonna be.
They need little Archie! Charles can’t dance, who else going to teach them how to TikTok I can just see it now, baby Archie with the queen, like come on Gammy.
The 57-year-old comedian also proposed an idea for a TikTok video including Archie and Queen Elizabeth,
The whole crown behind them like, Ok your majesty, I see you.
2021 Emmys awards were held at LA Live with a reduced audience because of COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, numerous precautionary measures were taken such as requirement for all attendees to be vaccinated.
Cedric the Entertainer took full advantage of this measure in particular and quipped Nicki Minaj’s claims regarding the side effects of COVID-19 vaccine,
Furthermore, he also told the audience that he was feeling a lot of pressure because of his skin color as he represents the black community,
