Meghan McCain Labeled ‘a Liar’ After First TV Appearance Since ‘The View’ Exit

Meghan McCain’s first TV appearance after ‘The View’ exit has not gone well among fans. Per Uproxx, McCain was invited as a panelist on ‘Meet the Press’, an NBC show.

McCain’s opinions about ‘United States’ prevailing political situation did not impress viewers.

McCain was part of a panel alongside Leigh Ann Caldwell, Eddie Glaude Jr., and Amy Walter to discuss Joe Biden’s current administration.

‘The View’ former host has started working in the capacity of a columnist with The Daily Mail UK recently. During the discussion, McCain raised a point about Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, saying,

The Build Back Better agenda is the most progressive modern agenda of all time,” she mentioned. She added that it’s not “polling well,” and she’s confused why the administration is focusing on something that’s not well-received in the polls.

However, fans have expressed their disappointment over McCain’s comments. According to a journalist Soledad O’Brien,

Previously, the conservative host was heavily criticized by fans due to tweeting insensitive remarks when Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro, ‘The View’ hosts were tested positive for COVID-19.

McCain tweeted,

She also added a GIF of Clint Eastwood from the movie The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in the tweet.

Following the response from fans, McCain had to delete her tweet.
