Netflix Releases Full Trailer of “Britney vs Spears” Documentary About Her Conservatorship Case, Premieres on 28 Sept

Netflix has released the official trailer for the much-awaited documentary named as Britney Vs Spears. The documentary revolves around Spears’ conservatorship legal battle and the impacts of the #FreeBritney movement.

Apart from this, fans can watch interviews from lawyers surrounding the conservatorship issue and a confidential report leaked by someone close to the conservatorship.

The surprising thing about the trailer that can trigger the viewers is, Spears’s delayed response to the conservatorship issue. She could have raised her voice against this injustice before. But surprisingly, it was not the case.

Per Variety, the documentary is a brainchild of Erin Lee Carr, who has been working on the project for more than a year. Furthermore, Bloomberg revealed in February that Netflix has started working on a documentary related to Britney Spears’s conservatorship issue.

Surprisingly, another documentary titled ‘Framing Britney Spears’ has already been premiered on Hulu and the FX channel on February 25, 2021.

The documentary was nominated for the Emmys awards and centered around the #Free Britney movement. In addition, the documentary also focused on Britney’s struggles to get rid of her 13-year court-mandated conservatorship.

Britney’s conservatorship is in the headlines for quite some time  due to the ‘Framing Britney Spears’ documentary. Besides, her first public court hearing also highlighted the conservatorship legal battle to the next level.

In her testimony, Spears has categorically mentioned about her depression post-conservatorship battle.

I’ve lied and told the whole world I’m okay and I’m happy. I just want my life back, it’s been 13 years and it’s enough.
Additionally, Spears has made other revelations during her court hearings. As a result, Spears’s father Jamie Spears was forced to file a petition stepping down from the role of conservator.
As per his petition,

If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance.

Per Netflix, there will be no more secrets regarding Britney Spears’s conservatorship case once viewers watch this epic documentary.

The 94-minute documentary will be released on September 28, 2021 at 5:00pm (AEST) in Australia just a day before the next scheduled hearing of Spears’ conservatorship case.
